Soldier with her son

The Veterans in Need Foundation (VINF) was founded in late 2009 by individuals with deep ties to the US military and its veterans who always wanted to make a difference. The Veterans In Need Foundation provides emergency services directly to veterans who contact the VINF.

Among our many efforts to assist veterans we funded a special program offered by our local VA hospital, which offered care packages to homeless veterans and included gift vouchers for disabled veterans to encourage them to come in for necessary treatments and therapy. Returning Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom veterans also had special funds set up for them by VINF, earmarked to aid them in navigating through the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs’ volunteer service department.

Historically, our attention has been focused on the needs of disabled veterans by providing emergency assistance. We have also provided everything from food to clothing to transportation for a substantial number of needy vets.

We have now expanded our network of aid to encompass veterans anywhere in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

In all these ways we are attempting to create a positive impact in the lives of worthy veterans everywhere. However we are constantly reminded that, without public support every step of the way, our best efforts are but a drop in the bucket. To achieve our goals it will take a massive groundswell movement of government agencies and the private sector combined with public support and contributions to rescue these fallen heroes.

Some programs are not available in all areas.
