Justin Episcopo, E5 Staff Sergeant in the International Guard for DC since April of 2011 is a Jet mechanic who unfortunately sustained a triple hernia in his groin area in 2019 while working. He underwent surgery in August 2019 and had a mesh inserted. He is experiencing complications from the mesh implant and required additional surgical procedures to remove the implant and remedy his medical issues. His wife suffers from epileptic seizures and he is the main source of income for the household. As a result of all of his medical issues Justin has used up all of his sick and annual leave time which leaves him with no income for his upcoming surgical procedures.
